Dr. Lisa Benest
board certified general and cosmetic dermatologist

Burbank, CA

"As a dermatologist with many years of experience treating skin problems, I can tell you what the major causes are. And I know the best way to provide good skin care and natural treatment options.

Exposure to irritants and chemicals in the everyday environment is one of the major causes. We live in a much more toxic environment today and our skin bears the brunt. When we are exposed to harsh conditions in the environment it can have a very negative effect on our skin.

The skin is our largest organ its primary function is to protect the body from pollutants, toxins and irritants. It keeps the bad stuff out. When it loses the ability to do that we are exposed to all that bad stuff.

Skin needs the natural oils and moisture it produces to be healthy, but with the stresses our skin is exposed to, these factors are often not present. Dry skin and other skin conditions come about when the protective outer layer is stripped away and irritants and bacteria get into the skin. The reason shielding lotions are such an effective skin care treatment is that they replace the protective barrier and allow the skin to heal from within.

A shielding lotion bonds with the outer layer of the skin and protects it from outside irritants and chemicals, so it will prevent skin conditions from developing or it will help an existing condition to heal.

A conventional lotion is not formulated to protect the skin like a shielding lotion does. Conventional lotions only add surface moisture to temporarily alleviate the dryness or itching. Shielding lotions stay on because they bond with the skin and protect it for long periods of time. With this protection in place your skin keeps its own moisture in and has a chance to use this natural moisture in the deep layers of the skin to heal itself.

We recommend Gloves In A Bottle as a skin care treatment to our patients and we have typically seen them ask for refills. Often our best indicator that the lotion worked effectively is the fact that they did not come back to the office for another visit the condition cleared right up."

Dr. Peter Helton
Dermatologist

Newport Beach, CA

"We have been very excited and happy with the results achieved using the shielding lotion "Gloves In A Bottle" as a natural skin care treatment. We have been treating hand eczema patients with it, applying their medication first in the morning, then applying "Gloves In A Bottle" several times daily.

We have achieved good results with your product such that the patients have been able to stop their medications and continue only with the shielding lotion to control their hand eczema condition. I feel that it is one of the best moisturizing protective creams on the market.

I have no reservations in prescribing "Gloves In A Bottle" as a skin care treatment to patients with hand eczema. I also recommend it for people who want to protect their hands and keep them soft and supple."

Arnold H. Stern, D.D.S.
Forest Hills, NY

"Your product has been a total life-saver for me. Upon the beginning use of your product over a year ago, I have had a total remission of the latex dermatitis that was plaguing me until that time. Upon continuous use of the shielding lotion, I have had no reoccurrence of the allergy. I have no further symptoms, and will be forever grateful for your product."

Dr. Brian Zogg
Dermatologist

Albert Lea, Minnesota

"Shielding Lotion forms a protective barrier on the skin and keeps out irritants and chemicals. It also allows the natural oils and moisture to remain in the skin, making it a perfect skin care treatment. It is a big advantage that shielding lotions are light and go on without a greasy mess. When your skin gets dry and itchy you know that the protective outer layer of skin has been stripped away. The artificial moisturizers in conventional creams and lotions can send a signal to the moisture-producing parts of your skin that enough moisture is present. Your skin then makes less of the natural moisture needed to resolve a dry skin problem. With a shielding lotion you protect your own natural oils and moisture in the skin, so it heals faster."

Dr. Rozalia Kovelman
Board Certified Dermatologist

West Hollywood, California

"Gloves In A Bottle is more than just a beauty product it is a new kind of skin care treatment. Since it works with the body's own defenses, it also addresses common dermatological health problems. My patients have reported very good experiences using the shielding lotion. Some patients have had hyperkeratosis, psoriasis and eczema. We have seen it clear up the redness, soreness and cracking."

Dr. Vern Rookh, PhD.
Physiologist and biochemist

Westminster, CA

"We have evaluated the protective value of this 'Shielding Lotion' against liquid ammonia, isocyanate in xylene, and the polyisocyanate product DCX61 in testing. Despite dosages of chemical irritant in excess of those likely to be experienced in the household or workplace, the shielding lotion demonstrated protection against skin and systemic reactions in all cases.

Because of our choice of test agents, including their organic solvents, and the level of protection demonstrated, it is likely that Gloves In A Bottle would help protect against most chemical irritants, solvents, and toxins encountered in the household or workplace. Reports indicate that the shielding lotion is not removed by routine washing and wears off only be exfoliation; this suggests a period of protection longer than the four hours originally claimed, which has been confirmed in our tests."

Dr.Peter Solo, OD
Toronto, Canada

"The results were ideal in helping me with dry hands. I am an optometrist in Toronto and also a partner in a company called Optego vision. As a health care professional I wash my hands 30-40 times daily and your shielding lotion has greatly helped in keeping my skin from cracking. My company supplies eye care professionals with varied optical products both in Canada and USA. Gloves In A Bottle would be a product which I am sure would be of interest to our customer base."

Dr. David Horowitz, MD
Torrance, CA

"As a practicing Dermatologist for over 22 years, I have found this to be the most revolutionary skin care product for softening rough hands that I have seen."

Dr. Carolyn Hopkins
Pathologist

"I just wanted to tell you that I had a chronic problem with dry skin on my hands. I'm a pathologist and I use surgical gloves all day. I take them on and off, and continually have to wash my hands. I also like to swim. My hands were cracking and bleeding so badly I couldn't even hold a pen. Nothing worked until this shielding lotion. Now I can swim as much as I want, and the cracked skin is totally gone. Gloves in a Bottle is amazing as a skin care treatment."
